I have an hunting camp on the Tombigbee River in Alabama that is covered in large wild hogs. We see hogs on just about every hunt. It is all river bottom hardwood bottoms with cane thickets and cypress sloughs. We have large white oaks that litter the ground with plum sized acorns and keep the hogs on the move. These hogs are very vocal and can be heard from a long distance with their squeals and deep grunts. This is a top notch hog hunting area. We have 20+ hunting blinds to hunt out of and a cabin for lodging. I will guide you and guarantee a shot at a hog, maybe a trophy boar. We kill multiple hogs every year with 3"+ tusks. i am from illinois. read "bayed solid" religously!!! never been hog hunting but would love to go. i use my catahoula dogs on cattle but would like to bring one or two. i've got cat. and my dad has world champion beagles that i would trade- the deer here are "thick" can see 30-50 a night. 19 pointer killed 1mile from here. i can't gar. trophy but they are here. it would be dream to catch or kill boar.
